Jeffery Rudell is a graphic designer and crafter known both for his extraordinary one-of-a-kind paper creations and his easy-to-make online craft projects. As a contributor to craftstylish.com his articles and tutorials draw an audience of nearly half a million viewers a week.
In addition to his work as a professional crafter he is also an accomplished paper engineer who has undertaken commissions for Tiffany & Co., Elle Decor, Domino Magazine, Bride’s Magazine, Good Housekeeping Magazine, and The New York Botanical Garden, among other clients.
In 1989 he launched a graphic design consulting firm in New York City specializing in strategic ideation and branding opportunities for clients in the arts, business, and public sectors including IFC (Independent Film Channel), The Reinvention Institute, and The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
He is also a nationally renowned spoken-word storyteller whose work has earned him a place on stage with such distinguished writers as Dominic Dunne, Ethan Hawk, Teri Garr, Andy Borowitz, and Jonathan Ames. He has performed at The New York Public Library and The National Arts Club, and has been a featured performer on the National Storytelling Tour; most recently as part of USA Networks Characters Unite campaign to promote tolerance. He has also worked with clients such as People Magazine and Ogilvy Advertising Agency to provide corporate storytelling training.
In 2005 he was selected from an applicant pool of more than 1 million to be a candidate on the NBC television show, The Apprentice: Martha Stewart.
